- P2: Two, calls the K♥
Which talon group do you take?
Answer
Rule: Calling a King that turns out to be in the talon also leaves you alone, but then the king-rescue applies: you may take the group that contains your called King, the talon cards you did not take are set aside face-down, and when you play that King later, these cards go face-up onto the trick, and the player who wins the trick takes them. Protect the Moon: keep the Skus as its cover when you hold it, and never lead the Moon late while the Skus has not been played, whoever holds it. A Moon left in the talon counts as lost by the Declarer; it costs nothing when it lies among the set-aside cards and is won back by the king-rescue.
